My ipsy bag arrived in the mail today! I love the excitement when that metallic pink envelope shows up in the mail, it's like christmas every month!
Do you know what else feels like Christmas? The end of exams! My last exam was yesterday and can I say, I was so excited to get it done. I love school, and I love learning (and math) but there is a certain point at which ten months begins to feel a little long. (And by a little, I mean a lot)
I thought for this post I would show what I got in both of my ipsies (ipsys?) from this month and last month. In my June bag I received: a Liptitude Hydrating Lip Stain, a Smashbox primer, a sheet mask trio, a concealer brush, and a mini shadow crayon. So far I have tried one of the masks (It was aloe which is awesome for my dry skin!) and the primer. Erin raves about the Smashbox primer and I have to admit it is pretty great! I do find though that the primer is a little drying :/
In my May bag (which btw is my absolute favourite bag yet! I actually redeemed my points and got another one in a different design!) I received a hair mask, an Urban Decay lip pencil and lip gloss set (that I am in love with already!), an eyeliner (I can always use more of those ;), a facial cleanser, and a Pixi bronzer!
One last point I have to make before bringing this post to a close is that my May bag was lost in the mail last month. I emailed ipsy care and they got back to me in a matter of hours. They offered to send me a brand new bag and I received it the next week. Thank you ipsy for your fantastic customer service!
Well those were my ipsy bags from the last two months! If you want to see monthly unbagging (should I call them that?) posts be sure to let me know!
Have an amazing weekend and I will be back on my usual posting schedule on Tuesday!
XoXoX

Ugh you're done your exams!! I still have 4 more to go!:( I envy you so much right noww.....
ReplyDeleteIt's drying because you have one of the primers meant for oily skin, try the hydration one, or the water one!
ReplyDeleteDo you think you can do a post about eyebrows? Do you know any good brow products?
ReplyDeleteI think you're right about the primer! I can totally do a post about brows! I'm a bit of a rookie but I do know a couple of products and tips that I'd love to share :)
ReplyDeleteDo you know any products that are good to give a bold effect to the brows? Something long wearing? I would love too see a demo/tutorial
ReplyDeleteMy friend just purchased the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade (long name haha) and it is amazing! It's great for that bold brow look you're going for! It's also great because it lasts forever
DeleteHello there! I hate to keep bothering ya, I was just wondering if you have any tips for guys wanting to begin with makeup? I always love exploring the pinterest seeing guy makeup tutorials but I'm too afraid to walk into sephora and buy makeup for myself as I am a guy. I love the look of the bold eyebrows along with a matte face but I don't know how I could pull it off as I am a guy. Could you perhaps do a makeup tutorial for all the lads out there? Much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteI love comments, so don't worry about bothering me at all, because you are not! As for going to Sephora, you can do it! It might be a scary at first, but you just have to go for it (trust me when you go in there you are never coming out ;) Sephora is like a beauty black hole haha. I think I could do a unisex makeup look in the next few weeks! More male makeup looks are much needed in the beauty community! Thanks again for commenting and giving me feedback, I love to see it!
