Hello! Today's outfit was centred around my newest find from Aritzia. I feel like the story's always the same. I start to save my money (in this case for my trip to Vancouver) and just as the sum becomes a pretty sizeable amount, I find something like this dress and all of my money just disappears. Poof. But, I really love this dress (which is by the way a midi dress, which is a rarity in my closet). I don't know why I don't have more mid-length dresses and skirts, I mean right now they are everywhere in fashion. One of my favourite bloggers Blair Eadie at Atlantic-Pacific is the queen of Midi skirts and makes up for like 90% of my newfound obsession for them ;) Suffice it to say, I am really feeling the midi vibe right now.

One of my favourite things about this dress is it's versatility. I can dress it up with some arm candy and my trench coat, or keep it casual like I did in this post. Gah, I just cannot get enough of this dress!

Now for a mini math lesson ;)

For some reason midi skirts remind me of parabolic curves. A parabola is basically a symmetrical "U"(ish) shaped curve that can open up or down. Basically, all quadratic equations (which are any function with a highest degree of two like, y = X ) deal with parabolas. Now, after that mini lesson I have a question (or 2)!

What do you think of midi skirts/dresses? How do you style yours?
