Chapters Haul

Books, books, and more books! From about March to June I fell into the biggest reading slump of my entire life. No books interested me and I got caught up watching a lot of television (cough cough Grey's Anatomy). I'm the kind of reader that can pick up a book and read it in one sitting. My greatest reading feat: I read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (a 766 page book) over the course of one Saturday. Usually I don't bore while I read, but for those four months I couldn't even make it an hour! Once exams ended I made it a goal to get out of that dreadful slump…and I did! So far, I've read eight books this summer (all of which will be revealed in my book review lightning round post). While that is not as many as I usually read (on average about two books a week) I am slowly easing myself back into the literary world.

Enough about my reading troubles! Today's post is all about my Chapters/Indigo purchases as of late.

The items from top left corner clockwise //
Ban.Do Planner // I love this day planner! I just started using it and it is adorable!
World After by Susan Ee // Ahhhhh this book is fantastic. Check it out in my Book Review post (up next week!)
Kate Spade Pencil Case // I got this baby on sale for $20! I love all the stationery, but the real star here is the pencil case in and of itself. I might even use it as a clutch!
The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey // I was very excited to pick up both this and Throne of Glass in a 2 for $15 deal! This book has a lot of hype and I was so excited to read it! I found though that it didn't quite live up to the hype. It wasn't terrible by any means, but compared to the other two books in this haul, it just fell short :/
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas // Holy mother of Wyrd ;) this book is fantastic! I highly, highly recommend this to anyone who loves fantasy and kick-ass female protagonists. Both this and The 5th wave will be in my book review post next week as well!
It Was All a Dream File Folder // I bought this beauty for $10. Paper organizers like this are great for those of us who struggle with putting papers in our binders (anybody with me?!)

The last item I bought you may have seen before if you read my Ootd post last week. This tote is pretty much my new motto. I mean "Talk nerdy to me" come on! I love it so much ;)

I hope you enjoyed my Chapters haul! If you have any books that you love and think I would love please let me know in the comments below!

Thanks for reading!
