Peaks and Tea // A Hike and Ootd

Two weekends ago my dad and I ventured to Lake Louise with the intent of hiking to one of the tea houses. I've always found Lake Louise and it's mountain tea houses strange. I'll admit that it's a beautiful lake surrounded by awe-inspiring scenery. It is very secluded and I am most definitely a city girl who enjoys being in the hustle and bustle of urban life. But, what really boggles my mind is that the Chateau Lake Louise was built in 1911-meaning they most definitely did not have the technology that we have now to aid them in building such a large hotel.  Even more unfathomable are the tea houses. The trek to them with no other baggage than the clothes I was wearing was difficult, could you imagine lugging stones, planks, textiles, and other tea house necessities? I know for a fact that they had no helicopters to aid them.

Anyway, my dad and I had a great hike and took many beautiful pictures that I am so thrilled to be sharing with you!
