Spring Additions 2016

Hello hello! I'm back with my spring additions 2016 and boy do I have some great additions for the upcoming months! I find myself looking for more classic pieces this year that I can use to effortlessly transition from winter to spring and from spring to summer. So here you go!

1 - Gingham // Let's start with this gorgeous Gingham top from One-State that I saw on 9 to 5 Chic's blog a while ago! I love a good gingham print in the spring, I feel like it evokes a feeling of picnics in the park or barbecues in the warm spring sun.

2 - Statement Heels // I saw these beauties at Zara yesterday and immediately picked them up! They are so fun and chic and the 3-inch heel? The perfect in-between that is not quite a kitten heel but also not quite a pump. A pair of bright statement heels + a cool pair of boyfriend jeans + a chic graphic tee = the ultimate casual spring look.

3 - Revlon Lippies // If you have been reading my blog for some time you can probably tell that the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms are my absolute favourite lipsticks. These things not only moisturize while still looking velvety-matte, they also last forever and don't transfer onto anything (from cheeks to coffee cups these things stay put!).

4 - Chloe Roses // My new spring holy-grail! Chloe Roses is just such a fun, fresh rosy scent that screams flirty and youthful (in the most lady-like way possible of course ;).

5 - A Lovely Little Purse // I found this bag at Indigo on the day after Valentine's Day for $25.00! I just love how quirky and fun it is but still wearable. I wore it recently with a striped top and dark denim jeans and oh-my-god it was so cute! I also love how a bright purse can add that little pop of colour that takes your outfit from nice to very nice.

6 - Clinique // Featured above are two of my new favourite beauty products! The darker of the two is the Clinique Sweet Pot Sugar Scrub and Lip Balm. On one side you get a lip scrub and on the other is a uber-moisturizing lip balm. It's great for those dry early-spring days when your lips still think it is winter. The lighter product is a new holy-grail of mine. The Clinique Cheek Pops are a must-have blush. I have always struggled with my blush applications looking splotchy, this stuff goes on so smoothly and makes me look so naturally flushed (something I'm desperately in need of! I swear I'm like a Vampire, my cheeks contain no colour whatsoever ;).

I hope your spring is filled with all the blooming flowers and pastel dresses the world can muster! What are your go to spring pieces?

And as always, thanks for reading!
