Building Brows // Eyebrow Tutorial

Toda is an exciting day! It is the day I post my first tutorial! This will be a pretty quick one since brows are pretty straightforward, but I hope you learn a little something new!

Let's dive in:

1 // Start with base makeup done (foundation, BB cream, etc.)
2 // Brush brows upward using a spoolie brush (shown above)
3 // Using a pencil, gel and angled brush, or powder lightly line along the bottom of the brows in the desired shape. For a more natural look stop here and brush the brow out with a spoolie.

Tip // Straight brows give a younger, sweeter appearance, while arched brows give a more mature, sexy appearance.

4 // Now brush the eyebrow downward and lightly line on top.
5 // Take the spoolie and brush your eyebrow into the desired shape. Fill in any sparse sections using light brushstrokes. This creates a more hair-like, natural finish.

Bonus // As depicted in the fourth picture by lining the brush up with the innermost point on the brow and brushing it back toward the brow with a small amount of product on the brush, you can create a much bolder look. This is especially useful if your eyebrows are far apart because it create thickness in the inner portion.

6 // It is optional to use a clear brow gel to set the brows in place and help them last all day.

Here are some great products that make every brow "on fleek"
Anastasia Brow Pomade (used in this post!)
Anastasia Brow Wiz
Great Lash Clear Mascara (makes a great setting gel)
Naked Basics (I use Naked 2 and Faint to fill in my brows)
Makeup Forever Double Ended Eyebrow Brush

Here's more! These are my two all time favourite brow tutorials:
Michelle's video!
Elanna's video!

I hope you enjoyed my first tutorial! I have an eyeshadow look that will be up in the next few weeks!
Please, help me improve, tell me what you think of my first tutorial in the comments below :)

I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to Alicia at The Girl With the Heels. In one of her most recent posts she said the sweetest things about my blog and I. It's people like Alicia that make my day and motivate me to be my best! Because of everything she's done for me, the least I could do is put forward a good word about her. Thank you Alicia!
