Travel With Me // Vancouver Day 1

Good evening! Today was our first day in Vancouver! First of all, it was blazing hot (the weather is insanely perfect right now!) One thing I really enjoy about Vancouver is that even if it is 30° outside the sea breeze keeps it fresh and acts as a reprieve from the beaming sun. Here's to hoping the weather stays this great! (Fingers crossed.)

This morning began the way all mornings should begin, with a delicious latte from Caffe Artigiano! I love when the barista makes designs in foam as well ;)

Then we moved on to Robson Street for some quick morning shopping and some Ootd pictures! I only picked up one item: a Tory Burch band for my Fitbit! I have literally looked all over for the Tory Burch Fitbit accessories, they've been sold out everywhere (even the flagship store in New York!) and I'm ecstatic to say I finally have a Tory Burch Fitbit band in my possession. 

After scoping out the shopping scene on Robson Street we caught water taxi to Granville Island for lunch and a little bit of sight-seeing. I've been to Granville Island before, and every time I go there I remember why I love it so much. I love the market vibe on Granville Island (I love markets if you couldn't tell from my recent farmers market post ;) I had fish and chips for lunch and they were delish! I mean you can't go to a harbour city like Vancouver and not have any seafood! We then roamed around for a few and stopped for drinks at The Dockside Restaurant. We further stuffed our already overstuffed stomachs with a mini Turtle (as in the chocolate) Cheesecake from a bakery in the market. 

By the time all this was said and done it was around 4, so we headed back to my mom's best friend Susan's house (where we're staying during our time in Vancouver) and ordered in some Thai food for dinner! 

All in all, today was an amazing day spent doing my three favourite things: shopping, eating and exploring! I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
